It's official: Oxblood is this season’s must have colour. If you’re not confident enough to splurge out a statement piece in this seductive colour, perhaps sporting on your nails could be the next biggest thing? The muddied burgundy works as a statement accessory or as a staple fashion piece. This rather morbid colour will look fabulously crisp against London's cold grey weather or in a deep velvety fabric for a night out.

Oxblood Yay or Nay?

Much to my approval the style of the underground skaters that the fashion world loves so much has reemerged as a strong tend for the Autumn/Winter 2012 Season. Dark greys, mauve burgundies and burnt oranges reflect the colours of the season so well and add to a crisp effortless look created by these amazing pieces. Grunge jumpers and skull print tee's add to the darkness of the season, while light feminine skater skirts balance off the look.

Chiffon is a beautiful light-weight sheer fabric that has made an amazing entrance into the everyday fashion industry. Th fabric that was usually reserved for evening dresses and lingerie has now added a touch of luxury to items such as shirts and skirts. It is available in every colour under the sun perfect for the summer and autumn as they can be layered up to accommodate colder climates *cough* Britain *cough*.

They can be styled with other prints or with basic block colour either way your look will be raging with attitude once you adorn your outfit with one of these beasts.

This weeks Wednesday Wishes is in homage to the Ombre Dip Dye trend of 2012 that I refuse not to rinse. The ombre trend explores a range of different shades and colours and tones that are so easily paired with block coloured shorts and tops. A simple dip dyed piece of clothing can turn any outfit into a trendy summer getup.

I'm starting a weekly fashion post called Wednesday wishes, summing up my favourite styles, trends and colours for the week.

This week I'm going for lilac dreams. Pastel colours are a hot new summer trend that compliments most people. I know some of you out their are screaming 'yikes', have no fear I promise you this isn't going to be a repeat of the white jean fad.  Lilac is a very soft complementing colour that can suit all age ranges and when added to any outfit it can give a fun youthful touch.
